BYEN,UNG-PIL born in 1970 in Jangheung, South Korea, majored in Fine Art at Dongguk Univ. Seoul. After his B.A., He did his M.A. in Fine Art at Kunstakademie Muenster. Germany, and awarded as Master Student from professor Guillaume Bijl in 2005. After his coming back to Seoul, Byeon participated as a member of artist residency held by Seoul Civic Art Museum, and now he keeps his artist career at Ganghwa island near Seoul since 2010. He participated in 16 solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions in Germany and Korea both. His artwork series consist of “Self-portrait” series where he deformed his own self portraits and depicted it in abnormal form and “Someone” series where he depicted a random person by using lines and colors. His artworks are collected by art bank at Korean National Museum of Contemporary Arts, Seoul Civic Art Museum, OCI Art Museum, and Supreme court of NRW, Germany.
변웅필은 1970년 한국 장흥에서 태어나 서울 동국대학교에서 서양화를 전공(학사)했다. 졸업후 독일 뮌스터 쿤스트아카데미(Kunstakademie Muenster. Germany)에서 순수미술로 석사 학위를 받고 professor Guillaume Bijl로부터 Master student를 수여받았다(2005). 2006년 한국으로 돌아와 서울 시립미술관에서 주관하는 레지던시에 참여했고 10년 전부터 서울 근교의 작은 섬 강화도에서 전업작가로 활동중이다. 독일과 한국에서 총 16회의 개인전과 다수의 그룹전, 아트페어에 참여했다. 그의 작업은 크게 자신의 얼굴을 일그러트려 불특정한 모습으로 표현한 자화상(Selfpotrait) 시리즈와 불특정한 인물을 선과 색면으로 표현한 한 사람(Someone) 시리즈로 대표된다. 그의 작품은 국립현대미술관 미술은행과 서울시립미술관, OCI미술관, Supreme court of NRW, Germany 등에 소장됐다.

Jiho Kang was born in Busan, Korea in 1985, majored in sculpture at Dong-A University in Busan, and then received a master's degree in fine arts from the same graduate school (2016). Beginning in 2009, he participated in a total of 9 solo exhibitions, numerous group exhibitions, and art fairs. His work pays attention to the wasteful phenomenon of waste wood that is thrown away in various places in society, ponders the connection points with human relationships on the waste wood, tells his own story, and sometimes projects the lives of others. In the early days, there was a series of some people, crowds, and refugees, in which a large number of unspecified figures with a connection between the discarded wood and human relationships were drawn intertwined on the waste wood. He is working on trying to communicate more closely and closely with the audience through characters.
강지호는 1985년 한국 부산에서 태어나 부산 동아대학교에서 조각을 전공하였고 그 후 동 대학원에서 미술학 석사 학위를 수여받았다(2016). 2009년을 시작으로 총9회의 개인전과 다수의 그룹전, 아트페어에 참여하였다. 그의 작업은 사회 곳곳에서 버려지는 폐목재들의 소모적인 현상을 주목하고 그 폐목재들 위에서 인간관계와의 연결점을 고민하고 자신의 이야기로 풀어내며 때로는 타인의 삶을 투영시키기도 한다. 초기 버려지는 폐목재들과 인간관계와의 연관성을 담은 불특정 다수의 인물들이 폐목재위에 뒤엉켜 그려지는 some people, 군중, 난민 시리즈들이 있었으며 현재는 폐목재에서 탄생한 의인화된 잭( jack)이라는 이름의 캐릭터를 통해 관객과 더욱 친근하고 가까운 소통을 시도하는 작업을 하고 있다.
