“The rhythm of flow” Wayan Yusa Dirgantara Solo Exhibition

발리 남부는 아름다운 백사장과 석회암 언덕이 있는 천혜의 풍경이 펼쳐지는 곳입니다. 그리고 발리는 전통 문화와 수많은 관광객들을 통해 접한 외부의 문화가 공존합니다. 그 아름다움과 공존이 한 젊은 아티스트의 내면에서의 조화로운 대화를 통해 캔버스에 그 추상적인 면면을 드러냅니다.

발리인들은 우리 몸 안에 작은 자연(소우주)과 우리 몸 밖에 있는 자연을 대우주(macrocosm)라고 믿고 있습니다. 이 젊은 아티스트의 작업은 바로 이 우주의 대화의 산물입니다. 이 깊은 대화를 감상할때 찾을 수 있는 우리 자신의 영혼의 아름다운 풍경 이기도 합니다.

The southern part of Bali is home to a beautiful white sand beach and limestone hills. And Bali coexists with traditional culture and external culture encountered through countless tourists. Its beauty and coexistence reveal its abstract side on the canvas through harmonious conversations within a young artist.

The Balinese believe that small nature in our bodies and nature outside our bodies are macrocosms. The work of this young artist is the product of this cosmic conversation. It's also a beautiful landscape of our own souls that we can find when we appreciate this deep conversation.

Yusa는 1995년 발리 남부 누사 투에서 태어났으며, 예술가였던 아버지 'I nyoman aptika'와 할아버지 'I wayan teher'의 예술 활동을 보고 자랐고, 고등학교를 졸업한 뒤 족자카르타에 있는 자바섬으로 가 2014년부터 2021년까지 인도네시아 예술원에서 공부했다. 작가가 자란 남부 발리는 전 세계 관광이 가장 붐비는 곳으로 발리 문화와 외국 문화가 뒤섞여져 있으며, 하얀 분필 절벽이 있는 아름다운 해변, 어부들, 동료 사냥꾼들, 그리고 오늘날까지 잘 행해진 발리 풍습과 의식은 작가에게 많은 영감을 주었다.

작가는 부분적으로 색각이 부족해서 어두운 색과 다른 색을 보는 데 어려움을 겪고 있다. 그래서 페인트병에 이름을 붙이고 생각하는 색과 일치시켜 사용한다. 작가는 그의 예술작품을 향상시키기 위해서 뿐만 아니라 인도네시아의 풍경과 사회적 사건, 그리고 자연 파괴를 본 기억 이전에 느꼈던 것의 일부로서 색을 사용한다.

Yusa was born in Nusa Tu, southern Bali in 1995, and grew up watching the artistic activities of her father 'I nyoman aptika' and grandfather 'I wayan teher', who were artists. After graduating from high school, she moved to Java Island in Yogyakarta in 2014. From 2021 to 2021, he studied at the Indonesian Institute of Art. Southern Bali, where the author grew up, is the busiest tourist destination in the world, with a mix of Balinese and foreign cultures, with beautiful beaches with white chalk cliffs, fishermen, fellow hunters, and Balinese customs and rituals that are well practiced to this day. It inspired the author a lot.

The artist have partial color-vision deficiency so he have trouble seeing dark colors and some other colors. He used the names on the paint bottles and and match up with what he was thinking, so he used color not only to enhance his work but it also came as part of what he felt before the memories he saw the landscape and social events and the natural devastation in Indonesia.
